Having dry skin can be an uncomfortable experience, to put it mildly. Itchiness, redness, roughness, flaky, a feeling of tightness and all things associated with skin that is void of moisture – can certainly make one miserable. Luckily, there are ways to deal with dry skin by tweaking certain lifestyle habits. In fact, some can soothe your skin almost immediately like using some aloe vera gel, infusing moisture and providing relief. Here are some rescue tips to alleviate the unpleasant symptoms of dry skin.

1. Steam for Moisture

When you take a warm shower, don’t let all that steam go to waste. Close the door to recreate a sauna effect and let that cloud of steam soak in through your open pores. Allow the beads of water to pamper your skin and make it feel moist.

2. Warm Water, Not Hot

Talking about showers, go easy on the high temperatures. A warm shower is enough to gather steam. Hot water will only dry out the skin even further.

3. Spritz Some Water

Instead of steam, you can also use a humidifier to spray light mists of moisture into the air. 8. Scrubbing Dry Skin
